Mommy Monday: Sushi and a Story

Some Mondays I am ready to charge ahead and some seem to be a whirlwind of chaos. Mondays seem to be a day that most moms I know can use a little more support so I aim to share weekly ideas on simple projects to do with young kiddos. Today I'm sharing a great snack to make with your kiddos at home, my version of "kid only sushi" as I called it in my class. I encourage you to make both the green (aka healthy) roll as well as the sweet treat. Let your kids get their hands dirty and have fun rolling their own food. Make it a longer activity and check out the book recommendations as well.

Easter- Easy Desserts with Kids

Talk about a #TBT (throw back Thursday) post. I found these pictures from one of my first segments with ABC30 from last Spring. I love the recipes I created and thought I should share so you can enjoy recreating these at home with your kiddos. Enjoy making simple Jell-O pudding Garden Cups and Easter Egg popsicles. My daughter last year helped make both at 1.5 years old. This is truly a fun activity for kids of all ages.
