Behind the Scenes
Writing this book has been a labor of love over the past few years. It all started with a Facebook message I received from a Publisher in 2015 and has slowly, over time, developed into a full fledged book. Simply finding the time to write while juggling a business and family was one of the biggest challenges and required some pretty creative time management. Whether that meant writing in the middle of the night or while sitting in our hotel room at Disneyland or at my beachside 'office' in Croatia, I took every opportunity to put the ideas and concepts developed through my years of experience teaching kids to cook into one digestible book.
I want to thank my husband, who is always willing to do whatever it takes to help me achieve my goals, even if that means just being a shoulder to cry on. I also want to thank my editor - Emily Pither, publisher, the talented illustrator, Kavel Rafferty, and my tribe that has always believed in and supported me.
